Ghana should have had a penalty and Eng a man sent off. Played like crap v DRC and Panama. Fluked a win v Mexico. Goal should have been cancelled v Norway for hitting a TV cable, Haaland's disallowed goal was controversial. Played cowardly v Argentina. Kane been diving in every game but never booked. Bellingham hitting opponents but never reprimanded. In your words Eng have had tons of luck and questionable decisions go their way. Argentinians are too much when it comes to hitting, grabbing opposition players. This looks to be their gameplan.

They practiced age old strategy. They targetted Bellingham right at the start. Everyone was shoving him needlessly even when was merely walking. That was their game plan. Same with saala. Argentine themselves were subjected to such strategy when Maradona was playing. Take out the star players. Half the job is done. May be they couldn't come up with such a strategy against cabo verde as there is no known star players there and Argentina was struggling against them.

Yea, thinking this might not work against Spain because even though Yamal is clearly their star, they have not been overly dependent on him in this world Cup and he isn't even fully fit. There is no need to over analyze! Fair but I think football is so fast paced ..it's hard to be nervy at the moments....it's contact sport and adrenaline takes over ..it's more fitness hot sn humid and tactics...make a tactical blunder like england or get a red card...match over

You know it's not the same but feel free to share the videos or images if you disagree. It is not England we are talking about though...Argentina is in finals beating only one top team England The other bracket was filled with Dutch Portugal Germany morocco france Spain Belgium . Argentina bracket was england Brazil and Colombia. They escaped against Cabo verde and England without controversy but stretched thin...hence my comment not of the same talent or quality. Red card is again the Swiss players fault but argentina lucky to escape that match as they were over powered by Switzerland just like england sat deep and got screwed. Every match there is controversy...clear cut offside or halland pushing a player down is not the same as egypts disallowed goal. There were disallowed goal for Argentina and against argentina..var is harsh but consistent. I didn't saya Argentina cheated..i said Argentina has a lot of things going in their favor Easy bracket that allowed them to win matches against low ranked teams at the end. Playing only one top team before final unlike say Spain Red card helped then escape the Swiss match Stupid English tactics allowed them to get back. This is different from outplaying a strong opponent tactically like Spain did to France. Referring decision against Egypt.

AKane Posted July 18 Posted July 18 They need to cancel this third place match. Let the losing players go home quietly as soon as they have lost the semis. They have earned that. No need to parade them in this irrelevant match. Suhaan 1
