Previous match they called Kane's performance against DR Congo as best ever for England.

You need to win 5 rounds to qualify. India faltered in 2nd round. Lol  our next goal is to qualify for round 3.

Feel for Mexican fans. It is one thing you lose by playing bad football ball. But they played very well. England was bad bar  4 minutes lol

Nothing to do with sport, just for historical colonial reasons and cricketing history. The claim to have invented the game and have won the World Cup only once in 1966. Their team is too hyped every year, I think in the last couple of Maj. competitions. They are pretty good, but I don’t see them winning the World Cup this time.

Kids don't have a place to play before 10th grade either... there is no open space for anybody to play in cities. Soccer needs open space.

Small school ground should do. India has about 1500 stadiums. It  is likely to be more than an african countries have. India is the largest country in the world in terms of livable area. Cape verde has 14 stadiums. Largest capacity  is 15000 people. India has stadiums that have 75000 capacity. I don't think it has nothing to do with infrastructure or anything. It is just that football is not really passionately pursued by most states. 

 

If India wants to stand out they have to invent new kind of soccer. Something like Tiki taka, catenaccio.. etc.  May be we should star kicking the ball at "trace bllet" speed from anywhere on the ground lol Imagine you score a goal of kick off shot :)

INdiia should invent leg spin, off spin with feet. Ball should go straight and suddenly turns the other way :) This way you can score goal from anywhere

Always a sad day for me when Brazil gets knocked out. I know they aren't a patch on their ATG team from 20-25 years back, but emotional attachment hai. Supported them since I started following the sport, influenced by my father whose initiation into WCs was through the Zico/Socrates team of early 80s. 

 

Yesterday they had enough chances in first 60-70 minutes to take a 2-0 lead, but such is sport. 

 

Interest in this WC has dropped somewhat for me. Hope Argentine/Colombia, Morocco (even USA) give tough fight to the Europeans.

Well-deserved win for England, this bunch is more likable. Their fans may be dickheads, their media overhype their players, sure. But you look at someone like Harry Kane and see his humility, nothing but respect. Bellingham is also going to be a legend.

This win should be hyped England were down to 10 men , 7350m fortress breached finally.

 

It was an extremely draining game. Last 25 min especially.  The height of English players was the difference.  Crossing quality of Mexico wasn't great despite pressing really hard.
