nevada Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Clearing the deck for Thala to step in as coach? Coach cum player Thala, who MAY play as impact sub IF the situation demands it - CSK management can again con the paying public with this strategy! Vk1, The Dark Horse, BacktoCricaddict and 2 others 5
kosingh Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I suspect poor Fleming could never understand how Dhoni could remain so powerful despite not contributing at all. Sgattick10 and The Dark Horse 2

New guy will coach all 3 franchisees. Will Thala or Ashwin coach? Ashwin as coach and Pdogg as analyst, lol. Honestly, I am starting to like Pdogg more than Ashwin. Ashwin just tends to be a people pleaser these days. Never talks down any player. Pdogg seems more practical, whether right or wrong, at his has a strong point of view. You need to have the ability to do trade offs to succeed at that level, instead of just praising everybody as the next big thing like what Ash is doing

Ashwin is forthright and presents fans perspective only when he knows he doesn't get into trouble. Especially CSK fans gave him a areal hard time.
