Rasheed is there because he made 627 runs at an average of 90 in Ranji with 3 centuries. One of the main reason they finished 2nd in the elite group with 31 points. Sai Teja 21 wickets Tarun vijay 24 wickets . Both are in the squad. Saurabh kumar 32 wickets. But left out. If NItish were fit he would have played. Most of the players in the squad are eitehr from Andhra or hyderabad. 9 out of 17. Vk1 and Manucrick 2

That enabled him to generate bounce even at low pace. None of the the main three from 2018 match made any strides. Among fast bowlers ONly Arshdeep made some progress from that batch.

Challenging conditions, better bowling will give better idea. Ironically enough RUturaj played some of the toughest Ranji innings last season.
vvvslaxman Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Tilak varma's "experience" in T20 has helped him in longer format albeit on a dead wicket. Atleast he showed some temperament in the last 2 games. Most of these guys are under-19 products. It is a solid working model. That and IPL exposure give us a better idea than domestic. Raghuvanshi, Yash Dhull, Kundu, Mhatre are all solid talents. High time we start grooming bowling talents as well from U19 batch. tweaker 1
