In the rpevious NZ series Vijay shankar batted okay and he could bowl. Rayudu coudl bat but very slowly. His career strike rate is 67. Besides vijay shankar hardly hurt our chances in 2019 world cup. Played 3 world cup matches. India won all 3 of them.  Against Afghanistan  Kela made 30 runs in 53 Hitman made 1 run in 10 balls. MS made 28 runs in 52 balls.  It is VIjay shankar/kohli partnerhship that gave us some respectability.
