2024: Aus failed to win a home test series against 10th ranked team WI.    2026: Aus fails to win a home test series against BD.

If we had not carried oldies we would haven won 3rd series in a row there.

175 lead will be tricky for Toygers. However too much.

If they get 175 lead means pitch is dead as a dodo...  At best a sub 100 run chase.

BD will win by losing 2/3 wickets.

This is repeat of our MCG test vs Australia in 2020 after 36 all out.

Target will be around 60 and Bangladesh to win by 8 wickets

I remember most of ICF was still nervous chasing 60 odd after 36 all out lol

Just saw bit of live action and i did not see pitch play any tricks. Aussie were outplayed. Its 50 runs lead now with only 1 wicket remaining. Best case lead will be 65, BD will win by 8 or 9 wickets.

So even though not a victory by an innings, this is nothing less than that, what a performance by bangladesh team, played like matured and experienced team in these condition in every department. Can they whitewash australia at home?

Mehidy is star for bangladesh, probably best all rounder going around in test cricket currently, doesn't get exposure to different conditions but he proved how good he is in this test match.

I would have been very happy if this was Sri Lanka or Afghanistan, or heck even Nepal.

But Bangladesh? This is a new low.

Shame on you Australia for allowing such an ungrateful nation winning at your turf.

It's rare for an off spinner to be effective in ODIs and Tests both in this era and this guy is a genuine all rounder as well.

Side spin, over spin this guy has it covered.  Lyon humbled and how
