vvvslaxman Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Bro has joined the elite list of 3 centuries in a Test series against India Bradman 4 Weekes 4, 3 Mudassar Nazar 4 Steve smith 4, 3 Jo Root 3, 3 Sobers 3, 3 Barrington 3 Richards 3 Zaheer Abbas 3 Gooch 3 Boon 3 Aravinda 3 Vaughan 3 Chanders 3 Hooper 3 Amla 3 Kallis 3 Cook 3 Warner 3 Dinusha 3
BacktoCricaddict Posted August 27 Posted August 27 The "century" doesn't matter. It's just an arbitrary cut-off. What matters is the toughness he showed in staying until the very end in the high-pressure 4th innings of an almost-lost test. He could've scored 98* facing 250 balls and it would be just as valuable and probably more valuable than most of those innings listed above. jf1gp_1, Norman, nevada and 2 others 5

Lone Wolf Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Good effort from a weakened Sri Lankan unit. With all their Frontline players available and bit of toss luck this could have been either 0-0 or 1-1 in their favour. Gill and GG enjoyed all the luck in this tour. Manucrick 1
Manucrick Posted August 28 Posted August 28 he is decent but i don't rate him that highly because of two main reasons first of all every new youngster plays like bradman against our attack and second just look at kamindu mendis who started with a bang but averaged around 29 over his next 10 plus tests so let dinusha play a bit more before we rush to rate him KV244 and Vk1 2
zen Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Just wondering how many times Sachin, who has probably played the most number of test series, scored 3 or more 100s in a series? … His 3 or more 100s in a series to total series ratio could be among the lowest.

jf1gp_1 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Exceptional attitude and a great start. I just hope they dont spoil him by playing t20. Such a Ashwin-Hanuma kind of innings. Lets see how he does when the ball moves around. All the best buddy.
