I still don't see Rohit making it to the 2027 WC His fitness seems to be getting worse with every series How is he supposed to get through a three month IPL and then handle the WC If he doesn't make it BCCI could end up throwing Jaiswal straight into the WC with very little ODI experience And if he struggles the poor guy will get absolutely hammered on social media by Rohit fans and Indian cricket fans

They did it despite of the fact that Aaqib Nabi PR was literally abusing Gill, Agarkar & GG for the non selection of Nabi, as Gurnoor didnt play IPL.

 

Mayank's non selection was a cause of concern, but he is for the WI series, that shows he is in the scheme of things. Ashok is injured at the moment but still Agarkar went with Yash Thakur instead of Mukesh Koomar coz he wants pace. Only thing which Agarkar could have done more in selecting Tyagi as well..but its still an upgrade over the past jokers.

 

As I said, I am up for new selector if he can pay attention to fast bowlers. But Agarkar has done more right than previous selectors. 

 

Prasidh is decent, he thrives on the pitches where you have to hit the deck hard and generate bounce. He has done it in England, Australia and even in recently concluded SL series. Not the star of the show but definitely better than many pacers who are stat padding in domestics courtesy of slow and low bounce pitches.

It does not work like that, Gurnoor was selected as last option. Once everything failed , he was selected , he also did not stick with young guys he gave them a chances which you cannot do . How can you rule out others would not have selected this guy Gurnoor.

 

It is not about one player, it is about his general team constuction.Both these idiots Gambhir have filled teams with bits and pieces players .

 

Tests and odis are won by specialists and India has proved in by winning almost everything this bozo even became the selector.

 

What young talent has he identified, he screwed one youngster in Sarfraz who should have been playing over all other bozos like Sai, Jurel and others.

Yep, at that age, you reflexes can disappear overnight. Even sachin struggled after 38 despite being technically better than rohit and Kohli
