coffee_rules Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 It is called Navratri or Dasara in Karnataka. Vijaya Dashmi (10th day) is very auspicious to start any new ventures. Also, Aayudha pooja is very famous. People decorate their clean washed vehicles and go around showing off. Govt Buses in Bangalore are decorated by inidividual drivers/conductors. They get a special grant from the govt to do so. A very big event in Karnataka.
