I couldn't agree more with this statement, but sadly nothing can be done about the PCB. It's as corrupt as the politicians, maybe cause some of them are in some way politicians of a sort. The PCB needs to be cleaned out, but who has the balls to do it? Sadly we're left with this incompetant organisation. The most pathetic, even more pathetic than the ICC.
Seriously if Pakistan fans and PCB think their team under performed in Australia , they must be under serious illusion. They just did justice to their talent.Their batsmen looked so petrified it is an insult to call those performances as indiscipline. Didn't they lose 3-0 when great Wasim and Waqar playing and again 3-0 when Inzi was captain so what was so different this time and what were they doing when they got bowled for 53 all out in both innings in sharjah.

Its PCB anything can happen.
So i was right. No lifetime ban on Yousuf and Younus: Butt
KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ijaz Butt took a U-turn hours after imposing lifetime ban on former captains Younus Khan and Muhammad Yousuf and said that the duo was not banned for life and they can be considered anytime for selection. Earlier, PCB chose to implement the recommendations of an inquiry committee to also hand out 12-month bans to Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved and fine Shahid Afridi and wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal three million rupees ($35,000) and Umar Akmal two million ($24,000). "Mohammed Yousuf and Younus Khan... attitude has a trickledown effect which is a bad influence for the whole team (and they) should not be part of (the) national team in any format," the PCB said in a statement on Wednesday. Pakistan lost every match against Australia in their three-test, five one-day and solo Twenty20 series. The PCB said the six-member inquiry committee, headed by its chief operating officer Wasim Bari, had based its recommendations on information gathered during several hearings with the players and reports from the team management. Tafazzul Rizvi, who sat on the inquiry team, said that Yousuf and Younus had the right to appeal and former captain Rashid Latif expected them to win their cases. "You can't hand out such severe punishments to players of the calibre of Yousuf and Younus Khan," Latif said. Another former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was also scathing of the decision. "Why was action not taken earlier against these players? Why did the board keep quiet for so long when the team was on tour?" Inzamam questioned.

I find it interesting. On one hand you say that it's not ban, but they have been dropped- that would be for bad performance- on the other hand you say that they would challenge it in court. What will they tell the court? "Your honor, how dare the selectors drop us? Even if we performed piss poor, we are stars and hence we have an eternal right to play in the team. Since our birthright has been compromised, may we be given a place in the team and the selectors be sent to prison." Since when can a player go to a court if he is dropped from the team? Anyways, it's a ban. A drop is when the selectors overlook a player. When the team management declares that the players would dropped irrespective of what the selectors may think of him, that is a ban.
No man that’s what I was telling, its not ban, a ban mean you cannot play any recognized cricket anywhere in the world but here PCB official says "Their attitude has a trickledown effect which is a bad influence for the whole team should not be part of national team in any format" and then "A life ban means they cannot play domestic cricket or any other similar cricket, but we are not stopping them from that. They can play domestic cricket or county cricket here and abroad." Now on the bases of this mode of punishment they can go to court because it’s the case of dropping them without even discussing their performance, performance is not any issue here. its matter of discipline only and their personel disputes which should have any defined period of punishment, I can bet PCB cannot defend it and they will be back for next Test Pak will play provided they challenge it in the court.
