coffee_rules Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 I liked Aakrosh... but some scenes were just OTT. I loled at Tendulkar getting out at 98..and Paresh Rawal doing the honors for 99 & 100. Dark comedy Cinematography is great... sepia tone with high contrast. Movie was copied from famous 80s hollywood drama - Mississippi Burning.

Which ones have you seen? not seen any. i have seen a woody allen movie - interiors which allen says is heavily inspired by bergman. liked it a lot. focuses on disintegrating family relationships which seems to be the theme for bergman's ouevre. what movies of bergman would you recommend? the ones that have won the best foreign film?

The seventh seal is his most celebrated film and depending on your mood you might want to start with it or work up to it after watching the ones I've listed, which are a lot more accessible.
