I said talked about too much than what they deserve to be. My fav movie is Inception. Most of the films directed by Nolan. I like The Dark Knight I just said it was a bit overhyped. Batman begins was better.

Along with "Where Eagles dare" which I liked even better than Guns of Navorone; got to dig up my Alistair Mclean collection now for nostalgia sake; those were the times!!! I love Guns of Navarone, having watched it more than ten times. I so looked forward to Force 10, but it failed to capture my imagination. GON has everything going for it: adventure and engaging music taking you to some exotic locales. I just finished watching "Where Eagles Dare", for the first time, and must say, I do prefer Navarone. A movie trivia: Sharmila Tagore is seen reading MacLean's "When Eight Bells Toll" in the evergreen song Mere Sapno Ki Rani from the movie Aradhana. What a contrast... the heroine is reading an action adventure novel while the ever romantic, Rajesh Khanna, is singing his way to her heart. :regular_smile:

Prakat Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 @tdigi it was the opposite with me. Had where eagles dare on vhs and saw it countlessly. Found GoN underwhelming. Also the opening two paragraphs of when eight bells toll is one of my favorite novel openings ever. :nice:

Yes, it waa Kajol in DDLJ, a film I have seen countless times.
