asterix Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I feel very sleepy during boring meetings and I've to do lot's of efforts to control the YAWNs... Daisy, best is to wash your face in cold water, if needed, couple of times. That usually works for me..
EnterTheVoid Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Two girls, 1 cup It will keep you awake but you may not be able to eat, sleep or work for a while.
jusarrived Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I take a break every Hr , so rarely do feel sleepy at work . sometimes I play a game on my PC or ICF Arcade . Coffee/Tea helps too
Clarke Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 dc, try 2-3 oz of the black coffee with creamer and sugar (stay away from the sweeteners). That is good enough to keep u awake if you're not used to coffee. In case the caffeine/acid hurts your stomach, a banana should help along with the coffee.
DomainK Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I take a break every Hr , so rarely do feel sleepy at work . sometimes I play a game on my PC or ICF Arcade . Coffee/Tea helps too When do you work then? :D
kabira Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 shame on you Daisy. You just have to work 35 hours in a week and even then you feel sleepy. Total waste of resources.
jusarrived Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 When do you work then? :D in my spare time :D
Mariyam Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Carry adrak wali chai in a thermos and drink a few sips whenever you are sleepy. It always works for me. In the unlikely event of adrak tea failing, dab some attar on your hands. Not only will you stay awake, but you'll manage to keep colleagues & bosses away, reducing your workload.
