Sachin=GOD Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Is he one of the commentators or expert in the studio? he's usually an expert in the studio but also does commentary in a few matches.
Utalk Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 he's usually an expert in the studio but also does commentary in a few matches. Thanks...will watch out for him now.
Lord Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 hes gotto relax n get some josh in hiis voice, looks too subdued
coffee_rules Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Saw him in the commentary box with RJS and SMG in the Ind-Eng match. He had to be prodded to open his mouth and was hesitant to come out with his own views. First day blues maybe. Still better than the host of people we get usually - Lal, Siva, Ranjit etc.
yoda Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I don't know what you all are smoking. I thought he was excellent, sticking just to cricket.
Shane Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 hes gotto relax n get some josh in hiis voice' date='looks too subdued[/quote'] No Good Lord, Please NO! I dont want any josh or anything of that sort, We dont want another Shastri. He probably needs to train a bit more as a commentator, with practice may be he might turn out to be somewhat like Gower. Hope. But this is a guy with substance, for how long I dont know.
Switchblade Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 He is quite good as an analyst but quite dull as a commentator
Zelig Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Not a commie material :headshake: Gower HAS a voice, Ganguly doesn't. He should stick to analysis n analysis only. :orderorder:
maaki Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Worst of the lot.. Sidhu atleast entertains.. Gavaskar tries to play homer and does quiet well. Manjrekar,Sashtri and Bogle are the best of the lot.. Ganguly puts everyone to sleep, tries to copy Manjrekar but fails miserably.. This seems like the failed kapil experiment at commentating Time to kick this dude from the commentary box
Andy Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 ^Yes if you look for entertainment and not the Insights.
Laaloo Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Did anyone hear Ganguly's commentary when Umer Akmal got out? :cantstop: X1jx2st9Zhw&feature=related Shashtri said: and he's gone through the defence of umar akmal And with that the hopes of Pakistan, "HOPEFULLY" :hysterical:
jusarrived Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 ^Yes if you look for entertainment and not the Insights. What insights ? hes just quite most of the times & keeps repeating the same things otherwise ..not entertain for sure , neither does he say anything interesting .
Little_Master Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 ganguly is completely opposite of Sidhu Dada speaks less but to the point while Sidhu talks wayyyyyy too much and never to the point +1
Shane Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Boring as a commentator, should stay in the studios.
Andy Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 What insights ? hes just quite most of the times & keeps repeating the same things otherwise ..not entertain for sure ' date= neither does he say anything interesting . Insights, Analysis. If I am not clear enough, You should Google.
rajmarie Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Ganguly 1 day will become the best commentator from India.
Andy Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Ganguly 1 day will become the best commentator from India. Nice Try:P
vvvslaxman Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 He made a comment.. wonder how many of you noticed that "Umar Akmal is gone.. with that Pakistan hopes as well... (pause) hopefully". I didn't expect from a commie. It was more like coming from a fanboy. He definitely got carried away.
punjabi_khota Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Dada should do commentary in Bengali. As boring and monotonous he is ,apart from some bong fanboys, I doubt anyone listens to him anyways :hahaha: He would probably be more relaxed and less depressed-sounding in bengali too
