Majority of experts (not unanimous but majority) will have SRT in front. How can a batsman (Richards) who doesn't come close to another (SRT) in any major meaningful stats (average, 100s, total runs etc.) be ahead of that batsman :dontknow: You can argue that in some aspects, such as more aggressive or better big match player etc., Richards was better than SRT but overall SRT was way ahead of Richards. In other words if you break up the comparison based on various categories, SRT should be ahead of Viv in majority of those.

(i think) in odis and bowlers were genuinely scared of him :P

The swagger, intimidation he brought upon the bowlers were awesome to watch. I remember Sachin telling along the lines after desert storm that he always envied the swagger of Richards.. which he himself felt after his 143 at sharjah. Only guy who could match swagger of Richards in his era was Kapil dev.

I can't imagine anyone else doing this even today in a Test match. He played a T20-like innings 30 years before the format actually started. PS - I don't think we can compare batsmen across eras.
