n u hv resigned it wouldnt. does Bhajji hv a good T20 record?yes did he do well against England on the same pitch(only match against non SC team with dry ball)s do Saffers play spin well?no do they play seam well?yes was the pitch helping spinners?yes but still he wouldnt hv helped.even if we wanted variety,it should hv been Chawla's leggies given SA dont play spin well
I am not resigned it will NOT - I am saying there IT MAY work IT MAY NOT work. Do you understand what mutually exclusive events are? I am striking those which are mutually exclusive events. If Harbhajan's "record" is going to be taken into consideration, he should never be dropped from the Test side at all - after all he is our highest wicket taker. So take that out of equation. If England's record is going to go by, Chawla should be under consideration too. Also, note this is pretty much the same team that made mince/meat of Chawla and Harbhajan in freaking in Indian conditions during the WC! Did SAffers play spin well in T20? Fast Spin NO, Slow spin DECENT Was the pitch helping spinners? At the toss, Chappell and Manjrekar said that the pitch is in "better" shape than the other ones we have seen in this tournament. Batting under lights is EASY - spin or not. Now, that you want to play Chawla I am lost for words mate. Here's a pro-tip - always do things which are comfortable for you and not uncomfortable for the opposition.

First Semi - Pakistan! SL has never beaten Pak in world cup matches. Its 7-0 or something. Just like Pakistan has never beaten India (8-0) Second Semi - Australia! West indies doesnt look solid bowling wise. Pakistan vs Australia - Australia.
Sl has beaten Pakistan in 2009 super 8s its the final they lost.

how r they mutually exclusive events if they r about the same man? saffers play slow spin well?so why do they struggle against Bhajji's slow spin in LOIs yeah I would listen to wat they said n not look at how it behaved in afternoon match,Ashwin was getting big turn,so much for flat deck n no he didnt get tonked against Eng in WC.as for Chawla,I said its only if u want variety, read the full line.I m not sure how Balaji makes it more uncomfortable for SA n comfortable for India than Chawla

Should have cried along with Dhoni, Gambhir, Sehwag, Zaheer and Bhajji after we lost 8 back to back test matches. This is a meaningless tournament. You can't win tournaments even if its meaning less without quality bowling attack. Look at indian lulloo's like Balaji, Chawla. :wall:
