rkt.india Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 then it must be sweat why were their rubbing the ball with towel then ? It is all about skills which he doesnt have.
J P K Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 It is all about skills which he doesnt have. he will prove u wrong he will come as good as mcgrath in bowling if not atleast to munna level
vvvslaxman Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 he will prove u wrong he will come as good as mcgrath in bowling if not atleast to munna level Unless he has a decent stock ball he is not going anywhere. He relies largely on his variation. When it doesn't come off he is clueless.
Ultimate_Game Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Was Vinee Kooomaaaaar unlucky today as well :dontknow:
VRV Singh Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Was Vinee Kooomaaaaar unlucky today as well :dontknow: He was bowling with Aravind so he was already psychologically scarred with moar pressure
Ultimate_Game Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 He was bowling with Aravind so he was already psychologically scarred with moar pressure Yup it's not Vinee's fault today as well. Earlier it was due, before that it was poor captaincy, before that it was something else. And today it was due to Aravind :hysterical: Yup Vineee Kooomaaaar is re-incarnation of Marshall but he's just sooooooooo unlucky :cantstop:
J P K Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Was Vinee Kooomaaaaar unlucky today as well :dontknow: pitch is too flat agree vinay was too bad today but he will bounce back rahane would have never got a century if vinay bowled the opening overs i blame sree here spoiled the entire game wasted the new ball completely
Ultimate_Game Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 It's amazing how people can actually want him in the team. The best you can say about the guy is that he's an honest trier. He doesn't have speed, variations, swing, seam or even a decent yorker. The guy is just an embarrassment at intl level against quality batsmen and now he's consistently going for 50+ in his 4 overs even in the IPL.
vvvslaxman Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 pitch is too flat agree vinay was too bad today but he will bounce back rahane would have never got a century if vinay bowled the opening overs i blame sree here spoiled the entire game wasted the new ball completely state the full name .. or else you will see protests here. :cantstop:
msb1991 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 Everyone was hit around today in the middle to later overs. I wouldn't classify myself as a fan of his. I just don't think he is as useless as people on ICF seem to state. Anyone who watched today would see that there was no stopping Shah and Rahane from smashing sixes and fours. He didn't bowl great today, granted, and he was hit around in the last game. Does that undo years of fine performance on the domestic circuit and the quite good start to his ODI career? No, it does not. All Indian prospects have been smacked around sometime, no one is immune - so Vinay has got it two games in a row - if he ends up with a poor season, then we'd be looking to say this was detrimental to his claim as an Indian international bowler, but two games? C'mon, people.
The Realist Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Koomar is a terrible low grade trundler with no redeeming quailties whatsoever. The fact that he plays for Ind, when HE WOULD NEVER play in any other international team, is a sad pathetic indictment of the state of Ind bowling resources. He may be a honest trier but so what, if thats all you have then you will never cut it at the highest level. Its incredible that such a talentless trundler has been capped at test level and we all saw what happened as he went for 6 an over. If he is picked and plays in the World T20, expect Ind to crash out early again, for the third time in a row.
msb1991 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 I think World T20 selections should really be based heavily on the last IPL. T20 is such a fickle game where people can fall in and out of form. FTR, I believe T20 to be Vinay's worst format. He doesn't vary things well enough and bowls a hittable length too often.
Number Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Name me apart from 2-3 games where he looked like a intl. bowler. May be a few good tight overs in with the new ball but hardly any impact in terms of wicket and then gets his @$$-whooped in the death overs. Poeple should understand that our domestic system is the last place where you can pick guys looking at their stats column.

Poeple should understand that our domestic system is the last place where you can pick guys looking at their stats column. Why is our domestic system the last place where you pick guys based upon statistics? Is it because it is so bad? If it is because it is so bad, then surely the hidden superfast 140kph bowlers who people always go on about will be able to run through the teams, there. But since you asked for games where he 'looked like a intl. bowler'... http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/518956.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/521219.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/518960.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/535795.html (expensive but we won with wickets) http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/536931.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/536930.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/518959.html
Texan Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 The fact that he plays for Ind, when HE WOULD NEVER play in any other international team, is a sad pathetic indictment of the state of Ind bowling resources. That is so true... he would not even qualify to play for Bangladesh
Manny_Pacquiao Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 vinny has done alright in the odis he has played, and that to me, counts for a lot more than some games in the IPL. vinny will probably have a few good games in the IPL as well, so dont forget to bump the thread when they happen. dont tell me u guys actually take these games seriously, 200 playing 200, on a batting paradise like bangalore, come on. in that case, we can crown ravi jadeja as the new king of spin bowling after he took a 5 wicket haul sometime ago.
bajrang Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 vinay is a Pomeranian pretending to be a greyhound. he will never be pace spearhead of india, no need to hype this guy.
