PaceAttack Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Will including pak players increase the integrity of IPL?
jairamesh Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Will including pak players increase the integrity of IPL? I think Hafeez is lamenting that pakis are missing out (not IPL)... "If you compare the whole world with us, everyone is there [at the IPL] getting practice in intense scenarios and enhancing their skills."
diga Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 HAfeez should be happy that Pakis will be an unknown commodity at the T20 WC.. nobody will know how they will react to intense scenarios like tampering the ball or trampling on the pitch
Executioner Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Ipl is not a place where players improve their skill. Players come here to get their moneybag swollen...there is always the alternative to match fixing which def. avoids the risk of claiming: He raped me
Trichromatic Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Ipl is not a place where players improve their skill. yeah, if it was really a place to improve their skills then Indians would not have been struggling to find decent bowlers.
ViratTendulkar Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 And they also let go another opportunity in form of kanadian "Toronto All Star T20" Top international players who participated in an 'All Star Twenty20' event in Toronto last weekend, some of them travelling from as far as South Africa and Sri Lanka, have been left in the lurch over their appearance money and in some cases reimbursement for air travel. Events company Kat Rose, who organised the event, said they incurred substantial losses when six Pakistan players including Shahid Afridi pulled out at the last minute. The company is in contact with their lawyers and accountants to resolve the issue, but has not put a time-frame on when monies will be distributed. Source
Needforspeed Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I think Hafeez is lamenting that pakis are missing out (not IPL)... "If you compare the whole world with us, everyone is there [at the IPL] getting practice lots of $$$ in intense scenarios and enhancing their skills. Bank balances" :--D Corrected Mr Hafeez
jairamesh Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 And they also let go another opportunity in form of kanadian "Toronto All Star T20" wtf, pity these paki players sometimes...scouring the globe to play in any random league with "T20" attached to it, it's not like they starving on the streets. i might send an email to Afridi's PR agent inviting him to Galactico T20 league to be hosted in Ulan Bator, payment will be 100 goats and a year supply of head&shoulders (menthol)

Half of Pakistan will volunteer :hysterical:
Crookbond Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 It is obviously a missed opportunity. Some of the Pakistani players would bring more charisma to the IPL. They are the team who are best suitable to this format of the game.
