Ras Al Ghul Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 We need a young kind of coach.Someone who is like Kirsten.Stephen Fleming fits the bill.Tom Moody is another one. But i dont know why did we pick this Dawes guy?Hope he does something good.
carnish Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 we need Pollock as our bowling coach ... fleming as head coach
Crookbond Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Fleming rules out international coaching Fleming's philosophy lies in relying on individual strengths rather than actively cultivating a team ethos. That is one of the reasons he has been able to bring the best out of someone like Albie Morkel, who is a CSK superstar but has not been able to replicate those performances at national level. Fleming explained that he has given Morkel certain reassurances that he does not have when playing for South Africa. http://www.espncricinfo.com/champions-league-twenty20-2012/content/current/story/586532.html Totally different style to that of Gary Kirsten but works wonders.
vvvslaxman Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Temporarily we can appoint a stool. That would do a good job.
Desi Cartman Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Rajnikanth .. only he can save team India
Crookbond Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Kepler Wessels :haha: He's a tough man like Chappell. Our Lords (pun intended) will be on their twinkle toes on a whistle. Wessels even did not leave a man like Graeme Smith!
Lord Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 :haha: He's a tough man like Chappell. Our Lords (pun intended) will be on their twinkle toes on a whistle. Wessels even did not leave a man like Graeme Smith! maybe just wat they need.
Crookbond Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 maybe just wat they need. I am fully with you on this - we need a tough bloody minded system overhaul not some jugaad. Kepler Wessels played for Australia as well remember that - he's more than capable in bringing discipline. I remember once when Greg Chappell was talking about "process" and media all over were taking his case; Narayana Murthy had written a nice article with the title "Do not mock process, follow it". Unfortunately, we fail to do this in every sphere of life - we want exceptions not rules.
SLICKR392 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Tom Moody! Stephen Flemming will never come as long as Srinivasan is at CSK's helm. +1 I would opt for Moody..he is a great guy and did well as the Lankan coach aswell.
gaurav92 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Let Fletcher leave the job first. He should be thrown out :hitler:
vayuu1 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I would have dravid as an indian coach or as a foreign coach I wud say Mickey authur or grieg shepherd the dd coach, bowling coach it's between pigeon and pont I won't mind T.A Shekhar as well, spin bowling coach is deffo jumbo
Needforspeed Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Fletcher-Srinivas-Dhoni The Trinity is going nowhere.
vayuu1 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I also think there is a strong need of overhaul in bcci as well , coz these industrialists and politicians ,doesn't care jackshit about cricket we need guys like ex cricketers like dada, amarnath, paaji etc in administration
