I think Gambhir needs more concentration to score runs because of his punchy technique. Thats why he play stupid shots because his technique makes it difficult to score runs freely as other players with more straight forward techniques like tendulkar or pujara.

More than Viru i am more worried about Gauti who seems to be bent on repeating the same mistakes. Sehwag slashing outside the off stump is not new. But Gauti guiding to thirdman with slips on is a habit which started more recently.

These 2 are baggage now in all three formats. Tell them to forget the circus T20, and go back to domestic first class cricket. Iron out flaws, prove yourself, find form and come back or else :bye: Right now, they make one cringe when their batting is watched :banghead: In a way, if India does poorly in Intl T20, it is a good thing -- at least in the long run that piece-of-cra.p-format called t20 (and hence i.pu.l) might suffer (yes, high hopes, but hopes they are).
