coffee_rules Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Kapil at his most incoherent best. I think he cried because KP was asking all the questions in English and Kapil was not able to give it back convincingly. He should have switched to Jaat/Hindi at some point and gone motherly sisterly towards his detractors.
punjabi_khota Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Am I in a time machine ? I thought this happened 10 years ago or some.
Lord Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Kapil at his most incoherent best. I think he cried because KP was asking all the questions in English and Kapil was not able to give it back convincingly. He should have switched to Jaat/Hindi at some point and gone motherly sisterly towards his detractors. that'd been fun:hysterical:
coffee_rules Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 No way  Thanks for posting this, I would have never known such a thing happened. :omg: Am I in a time machine ? I thought this happened 10 years ago or some. 6 years from 1994..yes this happened in 2000 , a whopping 12 years ago..
vvvslaxman Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Am I in a time machine ? I thought this happened 10 years ago or some. i also thought "am i missing something" :cantstop:
EnterTheVoid Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 JJ's interview was a disaster' date=' I had read the full transcript and Thapar grilled her on a number of issues which she had no answer to.[/quote'] Her saving grace was her command over English, she came back with quite direct/witty responses. If an idiot like Laloo Yadav agreed to this interview, he would have gone home crying his eyes out
EnterTheVoid Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 No question about it; Explain this: While campaigning for Bihar elections in 2005, both Lalu Prasad Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan used a look-alike of Osama bin Laden to woo Muslim voters. The look-alike would dress like bin Laden, accompany them in their helicopter to various election meetings, share the stage with them and make speeches that attacked the United States for its alleged anti-Muslim activities.[42][43] Pramod Mahajan, senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, had criticized both leaders for this by saying that they were "glorifying the name of a man who is recognised as the most wanted terrorist in the world."[43] :WTF:
EnterTheVoid Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 Another of my favorite Thapar interviews, exposes this stupid feminist for the farce she is [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk-RCM8b3oQ&playnext=1&list=PL4D9B1922F930B407&feature=results_video]Karan Thapar Vs. Clarke Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 No question about it; Explain this: :WTF: You're confusing unethical tactics with mental incompetence. Fact of the matter is, he started as an ordinary citizen without political backing and ended up ruling over millions while becoming a multi-millionaire and sometimes holding the ability to topple the federal govt of the world's most populus democracy. Don't tell me idiots can achieve any of that.
Trichromatic Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Her saving grace was her command over English, she came back with quite direct/witty responses. If an idiot like Laloo Yadav agreed to this interview, he would have gone home crying his eyes out No matter how much you or I dislike him, I don't think he could be grilled to that extent in an interview. Just because he talks in dehati lingo doesn't mean he has no idea of what he is saying and what someone else is trying to do while debating.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 You lot are missing the point. If the correct questions are asked using the correct language, these mofos would have nowhere to hide. Instead of journalists asking tough questions to those in power, they pacify them with questions that deviate from the real issue. Karan Thapar, in my view, is a rare exception.
nikred Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Everyone knew he cried' date= how did you miss it? :dontknow: Exactly my point. :P

True that and he came with a pedigree from BBC.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 True that and he came with a pedigree from BBC. With qualifications from Oxford University to boot.
coffee_rules Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Let me see the Oxford highness grill MMS, Or Sonia or Rahul with the same tough questions.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 Let me see the Oxford highness grill MMS' date= Or Sonia or Rahul with the same tough questions.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7e9kuJXfqQ]Hardtalk India Manmohan Singh 25 8 1999 - YouTube[/ame] MMS educational qualifications are beyond question, hence handled the interview very well. Already has. [ame=
Trichromatic Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Already has. MMS educational qualifications are beyond question, hence handled the interview very well. MMS looks way too comfortable, even though Karan Thapar is in his usual mode.
EnterTheVoid Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 Exactly. He doesn't get flustered even when the tough questions are asked, unlike the other jokers who laboured through their interviews.
