Old guy Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 hopefully he is 'lucky' lucky enough to get game:giggle:
Rohit S. Ambani Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 He can easily bowl 145-150kmph, we need pacey bouncer's at Englishmen to push them back.
Trichromatic Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He can easily bowl 145-150kmph' date= we need pacey bouncer's at Englishmen to push them back. :omg: I didn't know he that fast. Always thought he was 130-142 kmph bowler.

Rohit S. Ambani Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 I vaguely remember his IPL spell, he bowled really faaast. Dunno if he has slowed down.
Number Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He can easily bowl 145-150kmph' date=' we need pacey bouncer's at Englishmen to push them back.[/quote'] :agree:
Lord Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I vaguely remember his IPL spell' date=' he bowled really faaast. Dunno if he has slowed down.[/quote'] wasnt 150,more like 140
kubrickian Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 130-135 kph bowler. He can sometimes kick it up to 140.
VRV Singh Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 What's his stock ball? Does he get movement? That would be his plus point over Donald Dinda if he does, from what I have seen of Dinda.
MCcricket Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Awana is a shortish bowler with a good action, his pace is around 132 to 140, averaging 135 mostly, he brings the ball in for lbw, Pankaj Singh should be the obvious choice, Tendulkar should have been kicked out too with Dhoni.
India-KXIP fan Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He can easily bowl 145-150kmph' date=' we need pacey bouncer's at Englishmen to push them back.[/quote'] ofcourse he can he's a :kxip: player. Extra pace and reverse swing gets wickets. Unlucky and Awana will play.
The Outsider Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He can easily bowl 145-150kmph' date=' we need pacey bouncer's at Englishmen to push them back.[/quote'] Nahin. He is more in the 155-160 kmph range.
Trichromatic Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Nahin. He is more in the 155-160 kmph range. :cantstop:
Eternal Atma Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 We only have 2 express bowlers in India. Good move on bringing in Awana.
rkt.india Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 We only have 2 express bowlers in India. Good move on bringing in Awana. We do not have any express bowler in the world right now let alone in India. Our three fastest bowlers are Yadav, Ishant and Aaron and they are fast at best, not express. Awana is fast medium at best around 135ish. Ishant will be quicker than him.

Doesn't matter about pace. Awana has been impressive and tbh he would never have as pathetic stats as Ishant. I am shocked Ishant has not been dropped. I want Dinda and Awana to open the bowling if it's a typical nagpur track. None of this rubbish about Ishant's bounce and pace. Been hearing of it for close to 50 tests now and many people identified how crap he was from early on.
JaFanatic Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He can easily bowl 145-150kmph' date=' we need pacey bouncer's at Englishmen to push them back.[/quote']he's a 85m bowler not that fast as you think
