msb1991 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Guess you forgot Tait. i honestly suspect if the high 150's and 160's that Lee,Akthar and Bond clocked in SA are true, cause Zak and Nehera were clocked in 148ks often in the same WC. The same Akthar and Lee a couple of years later in 2005 were routinely clocked around 145, the speed that fast bowlers like Finn,M Morkel,Yadav clock today. Wonder if Tait is really the fastest bowler ever after alleged speed demon Jeff Thomson. Nonsense. Akhtar constantly bowled over 150kph during his career. Yes exactly.. 150 and not high 150 or 160.. they strangely did that in the 2003 wc, quite interestingly other slower bowlers also bowled around 10ks faster in that series.

JaFanatic Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 another bad match but again he is a test bowler showed the glimpse today
vvvslaxman Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I am not going to rate him one way or the other. Nothing magical about this guy.
Number Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Ganguly :don't judge him over these T20s. Although he was nervous.
vvvslaxman Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Ganguly said don't judge him over these T20s. Even otherwise... it is not like Awana is bowling to AListair cook, kevin pietersen in the domestic cricket. So we have to wait before hyping him. Ganguly also said England is going to poop in their pants in the Test series based on their failure in T20 in world T20. I am going by overall skills he displayed rather than how many runs he conceded.
JaFanatic Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 I am not going to rate him one way or the other. Nothing magical about this guy. he is definitely better than mithun vinay aravind and co he can be a good support bowler in tests
vvvslaxman Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 he is definitely better than mithun vinay aravind and co he can be a good support bowler in tests it is not a difficult job to do that. Yes he can be.. But i wouldn't go pitter patter over this guy. I definitely think Sandeep sharma has better chance to do well in most conditions than this guy.
Lord Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 it is not a difficult job to do that. Yes he can be.. But i wouldn't go pitter patter over this guy. I definitely think Sandeep sharma has better chance to do well in most conditions than this guy. yes.but he is phassht but Sandeep isnt

panther Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 :hatsoff: to the Indian pace bowling battery keeps churning out these trundlers 1 after the other.
JaFanatic Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 :hatsoff: to the Indian pace bowling battery keeps churning out these trundlers 1 after the other. he is fast medium and is definitely quicker than the upcoming pakistan bowlers:hitler:
King Tendulkar Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 So much symathy for this guy Facts are he is rubbis,h also cant field. Garbage
rkt.india Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 :hatsoff: to the Indian pace bowling battery keeps churning out these trundlers 1 after the other. clocking 140K is trundling for you?
MCcricket Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Awana bowled aroun 138 k and also a few in lower 140's that is sharp ish, he and Dinda are fast medium but being on shorter side need to have good skills to move the ball to be effective, he needs to be given a longer run so we can see what he can do , did very well in Ipl Bowled with good pace and hits the deck hard, better then VK, PK , Unadkat , Mithun, Arvind who are trundlers
Lord Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 So much symathy for this guy Facts are he is rubbis,h also cant field. Garbage Facts are they are all garbage but we need to identify less garbage players.need him to give him some games
Number Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Dhoni in PC said : Its wrong to judge him on 2 T20 games. We need pacers like Dinda and Awana who can bowl fast. :yikes:
panther Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 clocking 140K is trundling for you? Even dinda was clocking 140, give him a 10 over spell and you will see his speeds in the low 130s.
