Yadav is your best pacer by a mile. Look after the kid' date=' world cricket needs him.[/quote'] People were talking similarly about Yadav once he was thrashed on T20s and ODIs. People do not understand it is very hard for bowler to start well in these flat conditions in India. His last couple of bowls yesterday were clocked 141 and 140K, but on the last ball he just missed his length in an effort to bowl yorker and that disapperared for six straight over his head. Same thing happened to Dinda on that last 6 by Morgan.

The areas they bowled were not bad areas, but in T20 there is no real good area except blockhole. T20 should not be a criteria to judge bowlers.

got mostly edges on short balls which could have been catch to fielders on some other day like Rahane's. I guess this learning curve and thats how one learns.

Awana is a fast-medium bowler who hits the deck hard and can push he batsmen on the back foot. He is a trier. We should not judge him by 2 t20s where he was obviously bowling less than his best. He may not be the best pick but comes into the picture as we need a large pacer pool due to so many injuries to better prospects like Umesh and Aaron.

Indeed. Despite impressing people in IPL, T20 does not appear to be his format. He seems an expensive bowler who can pick up wickets. He has a high economy in FC cricket and List A cricket too. I'm curious to see if he can do well in ODIs or Tests and am quietly optimistic about his chances.

Fast bowlers in Indian cricket are like backup QBs in American football - the ones on the bench always seem better than the starters :haha:
:giggle: so true.. We always miss players who is not getting the game
