ExpressPace Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Depends on how india bowls. I think if india gets all spin friendly wickets than they have a better chance to win.
cowboysfan Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I am not even confident we can do well against the twobit aussie spinners.i think its 3-0 aussies.
Lord Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 4-0 to India. Other predictions. Viru to score a double in Chennai. Sachin will get a string of half centuries but no shataks. Ishant to pick 18 wickets. Starc will have an ordinary series and he'll mostly be trundling it in the low 130s. Pattinson will not fare much better either. Siddle the pick of Australian quicks. David Warner will be their most consistent batsman. Clarke will score a century but otherwise will return ordinary numbers. :antijinx:
Old guy Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Don't think both teams have batting stability to draw matches...there are gonna be results for sure! Maybe another whitewash? :-(
Small_town_boy Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Looks aus have the upperhand ...they have got better bowling attack....:nervous: i will give it to the aussies...2-1...but hope we win it...

I will double your icf money if Viru scores a single century let alone a double century.

Marut Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 4-0 to india is definitely sarcasm. India has not won at 4-0 at home in its entire history. A team with Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag, Zaheer, Kumble could never do 4-0. This weakened team has no chance whatsoever. India's best win is 3-0 and i think this has happened only 2 or 3 times. (against England and Srilanka)
diga Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Feel Aus will win it 2-1 or 2-0, we dont have enough bowling firepower + an inconsitent batting lineup.. For Aus, Lyon & Siddle will be the bowling stars & Watto will be their top run getter in the series
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I expected to see Zak, Yadav and Shami was totally shocked at the lineup especially given our poor bowling by our spinners against Eng, gone are the days where pace is irrelevant as Kumble and Bhaji will save the day! I reckon our batsman will hit form (they have to) and we will still scrape a 2-1 win, our opposition didnt look too impressive against a weak SL on their home soil
Clarke Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 2-1 to the Aussies unless the Aussies do an England and go for wrong team selections ala England at Ahmedabad. England only had Anderson doin damage as a pacer, Aussies will have 3 out of Siddle, Pattinson, Jhonson and Starc..good luck to our struggling batting line up. Not one of the Aussies mentioned is comparable to Anderson. It will thus depend on how pathetic our batting performance turns out. I am hoping for a 1-1 draw, will be an improvement of sorts
Manny_Pacquiao Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Not one of the Aussies mentioned is comparable to Anderson. It will thus depend on how pathetic our batting performance turns out. I am hoping for a 1-1 draw, will be an improvement of sorts Quality of bowling doesn't really make a difference because india's batting is just abysmal. They made Lyon look like a good spinner and they threw wickets away to jee tan Patel. Even panesar, who is nothing special, wreaked havoc. So no matter who australai play, India doesn't have a chance unless pujara makes another double hundred to get the team a respectable score. India's best chance to win a test will be at the start, the spinners could possibly catch the Aussies off guard in the 1st test. Midway thru the 2nd test, their batsmen will get used to the conditions, make huge totals and beat India with ease in the remaining matches. I will go for 0-3 to australia
Old guy Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 clarke will score atleast one double hundred
PBN Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 clarke will score atleast one double hundred sabby nostradamus baadshao, eh vi das de jao kehdi jagah te innings ch maruga double century :--D

I am hoping for a 1-1 draw, will be an improvement of sorts Siddle was one of the best bowlers in the world last year.As a bowler none of them might have anderson experience but as a unit they are better than england fastbowlers.
Marut Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Six votes for India 4-0. Very optimistic (sarcastic) indeed. And one vote for Aus 4-0. But only 7 votes for Indian win. And 20 for Aus win. So if India do not white wash Australia, they are more likely to loose the series. :hysterical:
