What are you smoking dude? What has his commentary to do with our educational system. Btw, there is already a thread for vvs commentary, why do you want to open a new thread to swear a great.?

Is every Indian laughing at Laxman's English skills the way Western people laugh off at Asian's English skills. Like they say what goes around comes around. He's there because of his cricketing abilities. So are Wasim and Sanjay. Would everyone rather prefer some commie with Masters in English Literature but having no clue about cricket.

Dravid and Ganguly are okay. But Laxman is just pathetic. Neither in english nor in Hindi. I don't see him anymore as commentator in future.

It's NOT his accent... It's his pronunciation....undred awkeye prezzure Pedestrian expert opinion.... Makes me want to shove a screwdriver in my ear

He knows the game well, but has a heavy accent which is not the end of the world IMO. The problem is that his commentary is not smooth and pauses a lot between two words which break the flow. He will get better with practice, just needs some time and maybe could do commentary in domestic games

He will get better with time. He is a legend of the game and has lots of experience and has good knowledge. As a beginning commentator, one needs to get used to little things like finishing a sentence just before a bowler bowls or completing what he wants to say before the over is finished, not repeating what the viewer is seeing, not stuttering and having a nice flow of words etc. When he learns this stuff, he will become better.

? Dravid was better than Ganguly.

huh?dravid is a poor commie' date='dada`s much better than both in the box but even he needs to improve a lot[/quote'] Yea right. Dravid's comm was more focused and was good to listen as well. Dada shows his obsession towards a player way too much.

IMHO Laxman is not bad. He offers valuable insight into the Indian test team and the logic behind Dhoni's on field decisions - having played a reasonable amount of time under Dhoni, he would know. Certainly more than ICF keyboard champs who claim to understand every facet of Dhoni's personality and captaincy purely based on television viewership... Same goes for Dravid
