You only become good when you do it. If they do it' date=' they will get better too. Look at Raina's catches in slip this CT.[/quote'] This This is also the reason every team has this problem of slips sooner or later..

Kohli was tried in the slips in the BG trophy recently and he dropped more than he caught. Raina looks like he can field there well. Also Pujara having good concentration can be tried at slips.

important thing is all of indian team is better in fielding. much more happy that team changed into a good fielding unit overall than just one or two exceptional fielders and rest shyte

Don't know about Bastmen (whatever that is :P) but Sachin is not an overrated batsman.
I was retaliating for his rubbish post with my rubbish post.

Slip catching of the level of Dravid and Laxman is ten times more valuable than diving and saving a few runs in tests and none of the younger generation barring Pujara seem to be any good at it.
great catch by raina in slips. We will be fine in tests, someone will step up. -

I am sure there are some great fielders out there who are very athletic and can do insane stuff. NZ guys take some insane catches and SA and Aussies make some great saves. But when it comes to aggressive fielding in the ring to run out no one does it better than Jadeja under pressure. I mean the guy literally got two run outs in last over of an IPL to tie the match with MI. Think about how insane that is. Hitting stumps that too under pressure where completed run will mean loss for your team is a very tough thing. You can be good and hit one on 2 or 3 attempt. But to nail them like he does is astounding.

Jonty and later Ponting used to dominate like this.

Some Aussie cricketer- I am almost sure it was Ponting-  said yesterday while commentating that Jadeja has the best throwing arm in world cricket.
