I am glad we did not become No 2. Otherwise the media would have hyped up the Ind v SA series so much and then they will have a good laugh if we get whitewashed again. Better to go into the seires as No 3 or No4.

Even if we become #2, we would not have stayed there as we are not playing any test for 8-9 months. Any of England and Australia would take that spot back depending on Ashes.

India being no 2 will further expose how flawed the ranking system is.

What about England and Australia ? England lost 3-0 to Pakistan and couldnt even win against NZ which is at the bottom of the table. They won against India but I think India under performed massively. Australia again got whitewashed by India 4-0.

hahahaha Yeah for me England deserve to be number 2. India can be number 2 if England and NZ draw this summer in May. This is very much possible due to the weather and rain in the uk
