Tendulkar_Bhai Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 The selection of this team has been so poor!, picking Vijay due to his good TEST match form in INDIAN conditions against a POOR attack will surely backfire, he has an average of 17 in LOI in 3/4 full series and more importantly has struggled against swing bowling. Dhawan instead of Sehwag I am happy with he deserves a chance though Gambhir and Rahane would have been a better choices, both have looked good in IPL. Pujara, Rahane, Rayudu/Utthapa, Bhaji, ZAK/younger fast bowler like Pankaj SIngh would have all made us much stronger. Instead we keep sticking with Rohit Sharma, VK, Jadega, Ishant. Dropping UV and bringing Urfan is one half decent selection. Cant see us progressing past the group stage unless openers surprise.
