The best thing about Mohit is his line/length. I have been impressed.
to me temperament does he looks like a rookie? to me he seems to have cool head and does not lose plot like other bowlers from our country..

Dhoni shields him well he doesnt bowl at death still credit to him he seems good can move ball both ways too

One to watch certainly. On his debut he was around 130kph but since then up to around 135kph. I wonder how he'll do outside India, I certainly think he could be a good swing or seam bowler in other conditions.

The 3-card trick to Sanju Samson was quite cool today.

He isn't dumb as most of our bowlers and as DM stated- he has a pretty consistent line and length and a good surprise bouncer. Should have had him in the squad ahead of Vinay.

He is doing his basics right without trying too much. Most Indian bowlers dont do that likes of Yadav needs to learn from him.
I am so impressed with the control over his line n length - this guy knows what he is doing, Dhoni gives him the first over to bowl ahead of a holder/morris and even dirk NANNES.... kinda surprising- this guy bowls his gentle outswing at 135 and comes out with more than decent figures and also gets a wicket or two........... ishant UMESH DINDA Pawan Sanyal and other talented guys need to learn to be simple n straight on luine n length from him. its too early to say and i am not comparing him also but he is kinda a POor man's MC grath- I used to see MCgrath bowling similiar type 5 to 6 balls testing the patience of the batsman. good length getting high rise outside offstump....ysterday HOLDER was getting good rise. mohit has good control over his line and length and if he increases his pace a little - he will ensure playing for INDIA. His control over his line n length is as GOOD as BHUVNESH's control.

yes it seems dhoni gets him to bowl all his overs initially itself or atleast 3 in first spell and 1 in the middle overs.

STILL Since he is normally 130 to 135 k hence he is a bit to Slow for INTERNATIONAL LEVEL and he sincerely needs to be between 135 to 145k if he wanna be a good international bowler, at present he is into Vinay Kumar bracket and more of a Line n length trundler and hence he would not make waves in international cricket. bhuvi is trying to become a 130 to 140k Swing bowler and bowls many balls in 135 to 140 range where as this guy has only effort balls between 135 to 140 and BHUVI swings so well so as on today he is way behind BHUVNESH. i would Pick VINAY Ahead of him today as well as VK has a lot of exerience and when ZAK is not around our Pace attack urgently requires some experience and VK is now a 130 to 137 K bowler with line n length

^^ Philander is also a 125-130 bowler and he is phenomenal at international level. There are far more important things than pace which can get wickets. Dont write off bowlers just because they dont bowl 140+.

Has no wickets in CLT20 so far but of course, that is no big deal considering two matches on flat pitches in T20 where anyone can get smashed. Just wondering, what people are making of him. Is he the type of skiddy quick bowler that will only succeed when batsmen are slogging or will he be able to get wickets for the Test team? I can certainly see him dominating First Class cricket next year. He bowls a troubling line and length but will the top batsmen just be able to leave him and wait for the bad ball. I guess we'll have to wait and see what he can do when confronted with slightly spicier pitches - he can definitely get a bit of movement.

He sticks to the plan no matter what. I like that. But he is nothing against our superstar Bhuvi ... Yadav will keep his spot as the real paceman in the team so Mohit can be the third paceman and replace pishant.
