No one. Averaging 35+ at 100+ strike rate is just not going to happen. We may get guys one day to average more at lesser rate, or less at something close to Sehwag's but his role - an excellent run getter at an amazing clip is going to be hard to find. One of the best things about Sehwag was that he hardly ever scratched around. On his off days, he got 2 runs in 4 balls and got out. Or 10 in 12 balls. Sehwag very rarely ever wasted balls and as such, his value is not just in the runs he scored at amazing clip when he did find form, but also in saving balls when he was no good. Rarely, if ever did we see Sehwag get 4 off of 20 balls in ODIs.

this raises another question, Sehwag is only 34 and will be 36 by the time the 2015 world cup rolls by. Now 36 is not exactly extremely old for cricket now a days. The fact is if Sehwag would have kept himself fit like a Dravid, he would still very much be part of the Indian squad. His laziness and lack of efforts have led to his downfall.

There's enough time for him to stage his come back before 2015 wcup also given his replacement is Vijay atm the spot will be open for a while as well. Its for him now to take up this opportunity.
