So if Pollard didn't get out they were ahead on par. Pollard gets out going for a wild heave, and suddenly it rains and West Indies are also behind par score due to fall of wicket :hysterical: feel sorry for West Indies

well Pollard's brainfart in terms of match context seals west indies fate saffers and india through to semis

So his side needed 41 off 24 balls (including 6 deliveries by Steyn), Pollard tried to hit first ball of the over for a 4 or 6 and he is dumb! Was he expected to do tuk tuk at that stage with his side needing 10+ an over?

This is not a normal chase where you can try to slog and even if get-out count on Sammy.

Yeah, one ball made the difference. Pollard's shot was terrible but I guess this is just in hindsight. He was just trying to win the game. Its funny because its usually SA who are on the receiving end of something like this. :P

Batting second is big advantage in rain curtailed games. But this is one those incident that is so freakish. One moment clear sky. Next moment rain pouring. Both teams were ahead of each other at various points in this run chase. It was like inky pinky ponky game.
