LOL at people talking about technique and loose footwork... Everyone's favorite Rohit Sharma has probably the best technique and look at what he does... JACKSH!T..... Some armchair ICFs feel as if they are the master of the game and make judgement on how to play and criticizing match winning players like Dhawan.. If technique and text book batting was that important' date=' England would have won all the trophies by now in the history of Cricket... Dhawan is the BOMB .. He fills up for both Sehwag and Gambhir...[/quote'] :hatsoff: Great post. One of them also said he can bowl yorkers evry ball which Ishant sharma can't. :hysterical:

Dhawan caught my eye because how he used to pull so well at dm level. But at international level he to be selective .

Technique is overrated.
No, it is not. It is the sheer geniuses like Virendar Sehwag that make you think so. Not many have survived without technique. Dhawan has a decent technique with a lot of flair, by the way

testing times for him .... will he fight back? Cant see it happening .... Such a big hole in his technique.....needs to come forward for good length deliveries and play with some intention.... How easy or hard to change technique which is so part of a batsmen? Can someone comment who has played professional cricket?

he plays so much inside out , anything pitched on leg stump and angling away opens him, nothing special about the balls he got out , just a big hole in his technique.

He has always gone through breathtaking highs, followed by agonizing lows. And who doesn't see a rough patch? Lets persist with him. We all know what he is capable of

Played good? Was helped by Eng bowlers. No fking technique. Sehwag can move his feet better. Initial few balls he tried to slog every ball:facepalm:

Member of the long rope club eh? His shot selection is something to worry about. I don't know what coaches tell him, he is a good player with an insane temperament.

This should be his last chance....He better show up....Have absolutely 0 confidence in him...the scary thing is his back up is a rookie so might get an extended run. Because the Mooli-Dhawan partnership tonight will be critical as to how we will save this test...win is out of equation
