Tom Riddle Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 could have been 20 minutes shorter ..that sonam kapoor part was totally unnecessary..7.5/10
India-KXIP fan Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 looks good :nice: Already two threads on this http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?p=2490174 http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?p=2182905 Not enough :poink:
KFC_Zinger Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 it could be made less than 3 hrs by skipping 2 songs.... second half is lil slow
Prakat Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 PoS movie. Barely based on Milkha's life. Too loud and subtlety is sacrificed for cloying and insufferable background music pointing out sad scenes. And, "Are you relaxing?", "No, I'm Milkha Singh!" GTFO with that ****.

I was waiting for some such feedback. I guessed it was going to be like this, from looks of the trailer.
The Outsider Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Really hard to tolerate Farhan Akhtat, the actor. A very good director though.
gaurav92 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Could have been a two hour and a few mins movie by deleting some really unnecessary scenes and songs. Overall, it was a touching movie. 6.5/10. Great direction but some flashbacks in the middle that were mentally disturbing him were repetitive and it got boring.
kubrickian Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Why cant Indian people get over the gay song and dance bull shite ? It looks so ridiculous and unnecessary.
punjabi_khota Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I loved the movie, maybe a few songs could have been cut. :nice: Baaki vo sonam kapoor ko koi khana khilao..kya haal ho gaya hai uska
Crookbond Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 The best part about this film for me is that Milkha Singh sold the rights to film makes for Re./1- and put a clause saying that 10-15 pc of the film profits would go to Milkha Singh Charitable Trust. My respect for him just increases every time I learn more about him. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/if-milkha-singh-was-born-in-present-times-no-one-would-be-able-to-break-his-record-in-100-yrs/1135643/

NameGoesHere Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Could have been a two hour and a few mins movie by deleting some really unnecessary scenes and songs....... Yeaaaaah, about that Hawan Kund song....... I'm not from Meerut, but spent part of my high school years there, and every time he sang out Hawan Kund, Hawan Kund- from three decades ago I was reciting "Oye teri ma ki bu**, teri ma ki bu**"
