Delhi without any doubt. My reason its a city which identifies there are problems and they are working towards fixing them. Look at the new bus corridor thing in delhi , it might fail but when was the last time something for city development was done or even tried in mumbai.

Now there's this teeny tiny possibility of me moving and one thing led to another and u catch this bukhar often times right. So I got around to thinking about this Mumbai vs. Delhi situation which place would u rather live in with ur family and i came across this while googling: http://www.dnaindia.com/analysis/1672508/column-are-you-a-delhi-person-or-a-mumbai-person Now I have lived in blore (great work environment), hyd (fantastic food), chennai (dont have to put up with pakao relatives - hardly have any there) and mumbai - they say u die daily in mumbai while in delhi u die only once but early hmmmmm. Your inputs are appreciated thanks :). Edit: More recent inputs please given the crumbling mumbai infrastructure and the horrendous safety index of Delhi.
People in Mumbai are more helpful however the infrastructure sucks big time... The people here curse BMC every day while going to office and coming back.... Delhi has a way better quality of life, much much better food options, more space around and real estate is also way cheaper but somehow I would never feel safe for my wife / Daughter if they traveled alone in Delhi.....

Delhi's current safety concerns should make it one of the worst cities to live in unless there are no female members in your family.

Based on that, I'd say you'll find it easier to settle in Mumbai compared to New Delhi.

^ It doesn't have to be something as drastic as rape, but its the general attitude and behavior towards women. I have many friends and relatives in Delhi and at some point every girl I know has been subject to some lewd comment and/or deliberate brushing. Bombay is miles away better in that respect.
