I fast daily, I eat 2 meals a day @ 11AM and @ 5PM followed by straight 18 hours of fast, I drink only water in those 18 hours. Try it, most people hate breakfast anyways or prefer slightly late breakfast and not having heavy meal before sleeping is a good habit. 18 hours sounds tough but it includes 8-10 hours of sleep so its manageable, maximum 3 days are required to adapt to new time table. You can eat anything you want, you can drink sugar tea, consume butter, parontha's anything. Just restrict yourself to 6 hour (11AM-5PM) window. Your health will improve like anything, You will shed kilo's and your health stats will improve. I forgot the name of this diet, I saw it @ bodybuilding forum. I was 130KG, today I'm 90kg. I am 6 feet tall.

Skipping meals and long hours without food is the worst advice to lose weight and gain health. Body goes into starvation mode, muscles break down and everything you eat gets converted into fat as body believes times are hard and food is scarce Best way to remain lean and have muscles instead of fat is to eat small meals every few hours. Any nutritionist would advice the same.

+1 People don't realize that starving the body does lose weight but it does some irreversible damage to the body in the process. Small and frequent eating is the way.

How to reduce belly/stomach fat?
Simplest way 1. Do some running ,skipping for 15-20 minutes or cycling for 25 minutes. 2. 40 squats in 2 sets of 20 each after that. 3. Stop eating rice in the night, keep your dinner very light.

Long hour between meals is not healthy it will lead to stomach ulcers.. Small 4/5 meals with gap of 2/3 hours works the same way as well and you don't have to starve yourself

Everyone are different when it comes to food and diet, hence suggesting a diet to others just because it works for you is useless. Some people benefits from long hours between meals , whereas some others get acidity, ulcers etc due to skipping meals. It is up to individual to understand his/her body constitution and follow the diet accordingly!

The method described by the OP is 'intermittent fasting'. You still consume the same amount of food you would normally, you just squeeze it into a 6 hour window.
