Desi Cartman Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Interesting so you eat an hour or so after you arrive at work and then 5 hrs after finishing your meal and people are getting ready to go home you get your chai, samosa, dinner and start eating ?
velu Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I tried following GM diet few times and I usually stop within 2 or 3 days but I use to lose 1 to 2 kgs.. usually I feel terribly tired after these diets Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
Detonator Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013  u ll lose stamina if you follow OP :hahaha: Simple advide - Split up ur break fast and dinner (5 times a day instead of 3). Reduce oil based food, and sweet ones. Eat a lot of fruits (except bananas ). Bely fat is not formed by excessive eating, it actually formed when Gastric acid in stomach start digesting the stomach walls. Eating less food 5 times a day will make sure that the digestive system works well (the Gastric acid will stop eating the stomach walls) and it will start reducing the belly fat.

I need to eat every 4-5 hours in a day, 9 a.m., then 1-2 p.m. and then 6-7 p.m., otherwise I start feeling kind of burn as I have excessive stomach acid.
nballa Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Skipping meals and long hours without food is the worst advice to lose weight and gain health. Body goes into starvation mode, muscles break down and everything you eat gets converted into fat as body believes times are hard and food is scarce Best way to remain lean and have muscles instead of fat is to eat small meals every few hours. Any nutritionist would advice the same. dont post bs without providing scientific proof or a study results from a reputable institution. fasting is proven to elevate hgh levels, increase insulin sensitivity, increase fat oxidation. your body does not break down muscle protein unless it goes into starvation mode and 18-24 hr fast is not 'starvation'. if you want to decrease bodyfat % and improve body composition then alternate day fasting is the way to go. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC329619/ http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/81/1/69.full http://diabetes.diabetesjournals.org/content/50/1/96.full
rahulrulezz Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I gained 14 kgs in 1 year. I stopped gym for that year. From 82.5 to 96.5kgs in just one year. This is when I had six packs n totally buffed up body before. However in last 2 month, I have eliminated rice, sugar from my meal n started eating watermelon (known for loosing fat) plus 1 hour hardcore weight lifting. Now am 86kg n kind of buffed up now however still no six packs so need to loose 3 more kgs So ya less carbs, watermelon n weight lifting!
cowboysfan Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I once tried not drinking coffee in the morning,it did not go well.

Also, our bodies can adjust to very diverse range of diets. As someone already mentioned the diet plan in OP is known as - intermittent fasting, also ( IIRC), warrior diet. There are people who have tried these and gotten good results ( if you go by their bodybuilding forum threads). One of my friend tried it and built decent muscle mass. They key is, choosing a plan (there are lots to pick from), that has worked for a decent sample size, and following it religiously. Ideally, one should try out few types of diets (except for the ones which tell you to starve for days) - depending on goals ( target, timeline, food habits/availability) - and settle for one, which you enjoy ( at least not end up hating). Enjoying the process and hence the results is more important than otherwise.

Also food eaten in the short period will be converted to fat. It's the whole scence behind how muscles are built
