Zanjeer Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Why do these bowlers become trundlers as soon as they get into the Indian team? Not too long ago Abhmanyu Mithun was talked about as a "fast" bowler who got wickets with his express pace. But when he got into the Indian team' date=' he was bowling in the 120's. Same **** happened with VRV a few years ago. Were these guys really fast or were they hyped up to begin with? Aslo, Unadkat was mentioned as a great prospect by Akram. Why would he do that? Was he just being nice?[/quote'] yes...!!!...wasim was just trying to be nice. When a journalist asks "what do you think about unadkat?", he has to be nice since he was a kkr coach and unadkat was also playing for kkr when wasim answered about him.
Detonator Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Hah Hah Unadkat has his fans They say wait he is 22, wait wasim akram said he is good, wait he debuted in test in 2010!!! This guy is pathetic and has no future in in international level. He is 22 , when men are strong, athletic and powerful. Yet bowls 76 mph. All you lot thinking he will suddenly pump up and be a strong bowler are dreaming. We need to nip this in the bud now, before we are lumbered with him for next few years. Just like we are inflicted with Vinnay now!! blah blah blah blaaaaaah bla blooo blooiaaahhh. He represented indian cricket team. not a fan of him but he deserves some credit, not plain hate. :icflove:
rageaddict Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 What else do you expect from the Land of Khakhras, Dhoklas and Theplas ? To produce a 95+ mph beast ?
Sean Bradley Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Hah Hah Unadkat has his fans They say wait he is 22, wait wasim akram said he is good, wait he debuted in test in 2010!!! Gunner Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 If we're looking for a left-armer, our best option is Pawan Suyal - he has better skills than Unadkat and is atleast 15ks faster.
Number Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 If we're looking for a left-armer' date=' our best option is Pawan Suyal - he has better skills than Unadkat and is atleast 15ks faster.[/quote'] Suayl is made of glass. Unadkat is much stronger, usually player full seasons while Suyal breaks down in 2 matches.
randomGuy Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Total garbage Bowls at 76mph What do selectors see in him. The mind boggles Keep him away! Jaydev's economy rate and line length were pretty good. Guess we will see him bounce back in bowling speed and in number of wickets in coming matches. Also, he's quite good strength and fitness-wise.
Stuge Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Tell me who is not malnourished when it comes to bowling department in Indian team .

Clarke Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Tell me who is not malnourished when it comes to bowling department in Indian team . Ashwin/Mishra/Chawla
rkt.india Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Ashwin/Mishra/Chawla These spinners should spun like the ball in their hand. Batsmen will find it difficult to fathom which is the ball which is the spinner.

No wickets in challenger trophy and one spell he bowled at IPL? Had he picked even a couple of wickets in Challenger trophy his selection could be justified, but when have you seen a young pacer being given his debut when he's failed to pick wickets in a level higher than Ranji One dayers? Add to it the poor fitness record he's had over the years. He's a very good prospect as of now and should be playing one more season of domestic cricket to ensure he can endure the load of international cicket. Rushing him into the national side can very well be a story similar to that of VRV Singh.

Had he picked even a couple of wickets in Challenger trophy his selection could be justified, but when have you seen a young pacer being given his debut when he's failed to pick wickets in a level higher than Ranji One dayers? Is this all about wicket or how he bowled? Sometimes, you bowl as well as you can but do not get wickets but it does not mean he bowled badly. He was the best bowler after BK in challengers, unlucky not to get wickets. Regarding fitness, he played 2 back to back matches in Challengers bowled 20 overs and showed no fitness issue. He might have some issues in longer format but as long as he can play one day and do well, I do not see any problem. But he needs at least one more season of domestic cricket.
MCcricket Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I am wrong Unadkat is fast, his speed is as fast as the fastest bowler in women's cricket or maybe he is a bit slower then the women lol
saneindian Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Is this all about wicket or how he bowled? Sometimes' date=' you bowl as well as you can but do not get wickets but it does not mean he bowled badly. Add to it his fitness record. For his own good, one more season of domestic cricket is what he needs.

Will only those 2 matches count, not the ones where he picked wickets? I agree he needs one FC season but A team matches will benefit more. I am not sure if selectors are looking at him or they want to continue with Unadkat.
CoverDrive Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 have to agree not impressive. maybe he will improve but looking at his action and ability to move the ball I am not too hopeful
King Tendulkar Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 blah blah blah blaaaaaah bla blooo blooiaaahhh. He represented indian cricket team. not a fan of him but he deserves some credit, not plain hate. :icflove: The question is how did he get to represent India, same with Vinnay??? Seem like right connections and string spulled is the reason. If thats something to be proud of then so be it. With cricket eye he looks awful and even his stats in FC are poor. On what basis was he picked?? Bonkers and insane pick
King Tendulkar Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 The OP is hiding in slums of Bradford while criticizing nation's servant who is playing for his country. What a hypocrite Please dont use my lines. As that is how used to and still do describe many a paki poster i.e from slums from Bradford.
