I see more positives for Australia in this series although they lost 2-3 ..In their home conditions , they will also be a favourite along with India in WC2015 in ANZ ... Positives : - George Bailey's captaincy and blossoming as a formidable ODI player ( Oz selectors should seriously consider him for ODI and T20 captaincy as it seems like Michael Clarke's captaincy is not well-liked, from all that is getting published now) - Faulkner and Maxwell emerging as a destructive ODI allrounders - Mitchell Johnson get his rhythm back FAULKNER AND MAXWELL - Respect

Not many fans are bothered about praising this lad who along with Maxwell has been the find for the Series. Even as a neutral fan, you cant stop being happy over the prospect of the Australian team becoming stronger in the future with the emergence of Faulkner, Maxwell and Bailey who could be the three pillars of Aussie Odi team along with Watson. I hope these guys keep up the good work and make International Cricket more richer than what it has been in the recent past. Now I have found the reason to follow Aussie Cricket again.

I dont think he was a find at all. Most people knew he was a very handy batsman and bowler in the shorter format. Been part of the ODI and limtied overs side for Aus for a while. His batting has been good but his death bowling has been terrible. I think he was one of the most expensive bowlers for Aus along with Watson.

OZ cricket has a lot to thank of IPL. IPL literally fast tracked Maxwell the million dollar :mi: boy. Faulkner also came into the limelight after his :rr: run. Watson was obviously streamlined into the OZ team after IPL1. For us, IPL found Yousuf Patan... :haha:

^ well yusuf did win us an international game against NZ with that crazy 100 so you can equate him to faulkner On topic though, this kid is a seriously good hitter and until today he didn't even have a 100 in domestic cricket so this is a good stage for him to perform. Remains to be seen how good he can be as an allrounder because his bowling has been crap this series
