Best fielder after rhodes?

Steve Smith as good or if not better then Rhodes or anyone I have seen before.

Tough call, but I'd say Jhodes wasn't the best. He was the best in his era, but some of the current bunch are superior. Just because Jhodes set the benchmark 15 years ago, doesn't mean that benchmark hasn't been pushed higher. I think it has been pushed up higher. I wouldn't include Yuvraj in the lsit cause I've seen him drop a heck of a lot of catches. I've also seen Dilshan and Warner drop a few. Ponting, Symonds and ABD I've seen very ver few drops and they were able to field in all positions. Anyways, no one is selected on the basis of their fielding alone, so it shouldn't matter.

I rate Ponting as the best fielder that I have seen. Rhodes had sensational athleticism but Potning was an all rounder in fielding. He could field at any position and had unbelievable reflexes.

ABDV or Ponting ABDV can keep and field anywhere This guy is a champion cricketer. I wonder if he can bowl effectively as well.
