dial_100 Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 I personally feel that all the AAP candidates are Humans. They are all susceptible to mistakes and corruption. So let us wait and see. I hope that they can sustain their clean image and start the real work. If BJP puts a strong fight then they can win almost as many seats or little less next time as well. Let AAP win 35+ next time. I am interested in seeing what they can do. Let Kejriwal become CM.

My full backing to them if they concentrate to continue their good work in Delhi or any other state , they come in power as long as they leave the national politics for the big guys...they need to get some more maturity for national or International level politics...

AAP is likely to win close to two-thirds of votes in the re-election to the assembly and a comfortable majority of votes from Delhi for the Lok Sabha too, according to an opinion poll done for a TV channel. The poll, conducted by IPSOS for ABP News shows that the growing support for AAP comes almost entirely at the expense of the Congress, which is likely to be completely marginalised in both the assembly and LS elections. On whether there should be a re-poll, the verdict was overwhelming with 84.8% saying there should be. According to the survey, while 49.1% of respondents felt the AAP decision on quitting government was right, 48.9% felt it was wrong. Despite the even split on this question, 67.1% said they would vote for the party if re-polls were held now, compared to 23.1% for BJP and a mere 6.5% for Congress. In the elections held in December, BJP had won 33.1%, AAP 29.5% and Congress 24.5%. If what the ABP News survey predicts is right, AAP will eat into both Congress and BJP votes, but much more into Congress than BJP. As for the Lok Sabha polls, 55.6% said they would vote for AAP, 34.1% picked BJP and 6.7% chose Congress. The somewhat more even contest between AAP and BJP in the LS polls could be partly due to a 'Modi wave' and partly because AAP is still not seen as a major national player. The support for AAP is explained by the response to a question on whether its government lived up to the promises it had made. That would have been the case if the Delhi Assembly had been dissolved. In this case the Assembly has not been dissolved, its merely in Suspended Animation i.e. there is President's rule in Delhi. In all probability fresh elections will happen in 6 months (unless of course by that time AAP and Cong patch up and form the Govt again).

Thing is a lot of MLA, especially, independents do not want re-election. Independent MLA Rambir Shokeen has already said that he will support BJP if they form govt.
