He might be good as a captain, but he has to cement his place in the team first. He isn't a permanent right now until he proves it. Scoring back to back century in a team like INdia who is one of the best test team's is the world isn't going to seal his place in the team. He has to score more runs on top of it. He will get his matches to play which he deserves as he has been brilliant recently. But don't consider his back to back century at the start of test career as a statement that he is a fixed fixture for us in test team. He isn't right now. He still got to show us. There are otherwise better players (Rahane) waiting to clinch his spot 5.

Also I dont think Steyn & co accept T20 gift certificates in exchange for freebies on the pitch. One needs to earn them the hard way like every other young batsman who walked out to face the Saffers at home. Rohit still has one innings to prove people wrong and redeem himself!!

Has been on the waiting list for a while, has the basic ability, made a good start albeit against WI. I have my doubts, but would be unfair to jettison him after a couple of failures.

It was an outswinger. swung aay in the air and as he played for an outswinger, ball seamed in after pitching like one of those Asif deliveries. Brilliant delivery.
