satishg
Rahane is a gem! He has done what everyone thought Rohit would do in this series and he has looked way better than Rohit. He will be surely playing at number 5 next test match. Pujara Kohli and Rahane will be a formidable batting unit in years to come Link to comment
The Realist
Nohit. Sharma is never going to make it as a consistent international level batsman, more than technique he is mentally just not up for it and never will be no matter how much long rope Dhoni gives him. Link to comment
NareshK
Drop everybody from 5-11 except for rahane and jadeja. Dhawan and Vijay needs to go. Vijay has done well. 39 and 97 are two good knocks. He did well in 1st innings of 1st test and blunted the new ball when it was doing quite a bit, even though he didnt cash in and score runs. He will be a good opener for us. Link to comment
Clarke
Add Dhoni to the drop-worthy list. Link to comment
The Realist
1-11 v Eng, SA and Aus yet the sycophantic media asks no questions. What exactly does Dhoni bring to the table on overseas tours? What exactly does Fletcher do apart from pick up easy money? Flower is being asked serious questions after the defeats in Aus and looks likely to resign yet Fletcher with THAT record sits on two chairs gaining weight and cash  Link to comment

rkt.india
What's Pankaj's avg pace? Also' date=' is he more of a hit the deck, seam and bounce kinda bowler? It's a good variation to our attack.[/quote'] he is tall 6'6" hit the deck bowler, predominantly gets outswing, pace wise, he can be 135-142k range. Last time, I saw him was last year in Ranji opener where he took 9 wickets and has taken 35 plus wickets this year too. Link to comment
express bowling
When something is not working time and again then a new thing is tried. That is what happens in every sphere. Everyone of the posters in this thread do it regarding issues that are important in their own lives. I don't think many of those guys supporting Dhoni's captaincy in tests would have agreed to the removal of all the great batsmen in our lineup in the whitewashes in Australia and England. There were a lot of reasons that could be dug up to keep them. But some retired, some dropped and others were encouraged to retire by the selection committee. Now, the new look batting lineup is looking much better than the ageing batting lineup did and Kohli, Pujara and Rahane playing exceptionally. Dhoni's captaincy is not working in overseas tests for a long time. Let's try someone else. What is the harm ? Link to comment
The Realist
Will Dumb and Dumber even show up at the press conference today? Has anybody actually seen Fletcher? Link to comment
Sachin=GOD
did they do the honorable thing after Eng whitewashed India by 4-0 or after Aus whitewashed India by 4-0 or after Eng beat us at home? Link to comment

Switchblade
Apparently Fletcher is on $500,000 a year :cantstop: WTF  I think his contract was extended for an year back in 2013 during the Aussie series so there might be a chance his contract does not get renewed but more than him I feel its time for MS to step down as test skipper. carnish
India, I believe is going to do real good in the Tests. ODIs on the other hand are anyone's game and I do not think that this Indian team should lose given that West Indies just gave the Kiwis a bashing in the final ODI. Link to comment
