Also, it's time for Dhoni to give up Test cricket and focus on ODI cricket, where he is one of the game's greatest batsmen. Saha can be the keeper and maybe Kohli can take over as Test captain

suraj Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 What I liked was that this was not a 100 where he could just go for broke by hitting all over and could have gone anywhere from 70 to 100 after a shaky start rather this was one where he had to adapt multiple times and to different situations & showed great temperament thats a good sign

Ultimate_Game Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 We have the worst tail in world cricket, we have the worst bowling attack and one of the poorer fielding/catching sides bar a couple of individuals. With so many holes we can't expect to be a world beater. We gotta upgrade our bowling somehow coz we can't keep on conceding 400-500+ in away Tests.

Dhoni stays on in ODIs as captain and keeper to try to focus on the World Cup. Thoughts? I think it would be a much needed breath of fresh air in Indian cricket.

vvvslaxman Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Ashwin is more like a top order batsman. Sadly his bowling sucks. He would not play panic shots or desperate shots like Dhoni. He is definitely a superior batsman than Dhoni overseas.
