express bowling Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Yeah even brainless bowlers deserve a better captain :(( Actually, if the bowlers are brainless, they NEED a brainy captain. Gut-instinct captains find it very hard to use ordinary resources and need ready made players.
rkt.india Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 They have no discipline. The only one who had was Zaheer. They try to do something different when things are going nicely. For Aaron, he was hitting good line and length in that one over and Taylor was struggling to take singles and his last delivery, he bangs it short and wide, goes for a 4. Bhuvi does that short stuff usually now. He used to keep it tight and bowled good length when he started off but here is now trying to pitch it short at that pace. Do not bring up the field placement as most of you did during that crap over from Aaron, as CI and most Tweets were blaming Aaron solely for his rubbish length after bowling some good ones prior. Look at Steyn. That is as disciplined as one could get. He sticks to the same line and length and very rarely changes it and once in a blue moon, brings it back in, which has usually got him wicket. Our bowlers, especially Ashwin has no plan of their own. N.McCullum by no mean is crap, he should be credited for the way he is bowled. Ashwin around the wickets gets hammered as well but McCummul bowls a better line and has a good angle and does not try to bowl a wicket taking delivery every single time. We don't a good partnership in bowlers. If one keeps it tight, the other goes for plenty and all the pressure that has been build up from the other end goes kapoot. The captaincy has been pathetic but these bowlers have been uber pathetic. Tell me who asked them to bowl short? I didn't see those short balls from Aaron in first match.
SLICKR392 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Tell me who asked them to bowl short? I didn't see those short balls from Aaron in first match. He did bowl short in the first match and he did that during his debut as well. Give me a proof saying someone asked him to bowl short because when he was bowling short, Dhoni came up to him looking pissed. I believe CI were reporting from the ground, din't see them posting that he was asked to bowl short.
div Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Tell me who asked them to bowl short? I didn't see those short balls from Aaron in first match. no one asked him to bowl short and wide.
Lord Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Tell me who asked them to bowl short? I didn't see those short balls from Aaron in first match. he got McCullum with a short and wide only IIIRC even if hes instructed to bowl short, its near batsmen's head, not short and wide
Number Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Story of the series continues. Pick a few wickets early on. Then get spinners, part-timers on. That allows NZ to re-build again without any difficulties and launch an attack in the end. Thought-less, clueless or stubborn captaincy in display.
SLICKR392 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 That was brainless to you. No one asked Aaron to bowl short there. (44.5 over). Jolly good over and he bangs in a crap short one.
asterix Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Pretty brainless bowling by Dhoni pet chums Fatwin and Jaddu, again....
rkt.india Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 he got McCullum with a short and wide only IIIRC even if hes instructed to bowl short, its near batsmen's head, not short and wide that was a change up bowl after he tied him down by full yorker then bowled a short one and Mcculum was quick enough and induced the error. Short bowl should always be a surprise ball.
rkt.india Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 He did bowl short in the first match and he did that during his debut as well. Give me a proof saying someone asked him to bowl short because when he was bowling short, Dhoni came up to him looking pissed. I believe CI were reporting from the ground, din't see them posting that he was asked to bowl short. Dhoni after match third said if you bowl 145, you need to bowl at least 2 bouncers per over and then after second match Dhoni said we tried to bowl short of length like NZ bowlers did but he forgot, NZ bowlers are tall and we are not that good playing short length balls. Even our bowlers are not that used to bowling short length balls because we do not have that kind of pitches in India in FC. So that does not come to us naturally.
rkt.india Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 no one asked him to bowl short and wide. Bhai. You want something, you need to accept bad with that too. If you bowl short, every ball wont be on target and there is always a risk of giving width outside off our down leg. Our bowlers are not used to it in domestic cricket so it does not come to them naturally so there is always a chance of execution part going wrong.
Rebel Agent Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Problem is Dhoni does not know how to captain fast bowlers, it's a art and Dhoni has no idea.
Straight Drive Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Problem is India does not has good pace bowlers.Lets not blame everything on Dhoni. How many pace bowlers we have seen bowl well even when Dhoni was not playing cricket.
King Tendulkar Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Problem is Dhoni does not know how to captain fast bowlers' date=' it's a art and Dhoni has no idea.[/quote'] yep
Detonator Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Rohit Sharma gone. Pathetic and stubborn captaincy by Dhoni
Detonator Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 New captain will have fresh ideas' date= fresh team selection, reduce number of CSK players, could get a genuine spinner in the team... On field could go on backing his bowlers and not ditch in open public... However, I believe, at this stage, Dhoni should be leading the team in WC2015.... He should get the blame of losing the WC...he was entrusted to build the team for WC... and drop nohit, bhuvi, pissant, and dhawan. select more bong players.

GolGappe Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 The captain who wins 5 consecutive tosses and yet manages to f--k up everything through poor strategy or bizarre team selections.

New Zealand commies are jizzing in their pants, thinking how many good fast bowlers they got after this series. They don't know its just our rubbish bowling. :cantstop:
GolGappe Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 NZ is on a bit of a roll. They also won ODI series in RSA and England.
