And before some AAP fan comes to say that he just gave up power - its clear that he only did this to become a martyr and gain sympathy. He and his party have no right to call themselves any different from other parties. I really hope that his stunt to gain sympathy fails and the people teach him a lesson in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections.

While I agree,I don't see much wrong in wanting to grab power as long as you don't use it to fill your own pockets and use it as its meant.After all you need power to do something right too.

For me......his resignation was a very self serving move.......baby throwing his toys out of his pram......even my dad, who is a big fan of AAP, agrees with me........he is basically counting on his populism to get the majority vote in a seemingly inevitable re-election...... Even though I favor the NDA, deep inside I was hoping these guys wouldn't end up going kaput.......

putrevus Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 If there is reelection in Delhi how can AAP justify the cost, This damn thing is playing out like in a telugu movie Leader, if there are reelections and AAP wins total majority . He total end game from the start was to find reasons to quit after introducing some catchy things and then to get reelected with majority.

AAP was failing miserable with daily scandals and was losing any whatsoever momentum or hype it needed for the Lok Sabha. Thus, then AAP began going back to their original ways to attract attention. That original ways being protests, they started their dharna with the CM included, it only got additional negative publicity. As the state minister instead become as a street minster. Thus, in order to save themselves, Kejriwal quit. And so once again the star protester will be back on the streets. It is basically round 2 of the same tactics they used for Delhi elections but just that it will be many parts of India. However, there is one key difference between now and then. AAP is no longer a new and clean party with no known negatives or controversies that it was during Delhi elections. Interesting times ahead....

I haven't followed the boring INdian politics recently, but from whatever I have known, the dude wasn't anywhere close to harmful for the state. People of India just want everything for free, or fast. No one can change the country overnight.

But IMO India badly needs to grow economically and become a GlobaL power... After a long time Congress is going to become a marginal player.. I really want BJP/NDA to atleast get once shot in running the Govt. Please don't club 65 years of misrule of Congress with just few years rule of NDA.. they deserve another chance... After that do whatever you like... Bring an Arab Spring, change all the system, remove corruption, sort out all the corporates etc... Exactly .Am neither a Congress or a BJP supporter but this joker is not what India needs ... such an embarrassment . We need good leaders not emotional wrecks like him.
