A few bad games, and you are all over Varun? I think he is a decent LOI bowler and will obviously get better as much as he plays, first we must give him a space of 8-10 games to prove himself consistently. If he doesn't come good in those many games, we might drop him and give others a chance, but at least give him a proper run to prove himself. He has that extra zing in his stride that an Indian bowler needs.

Even though Bhuvan and SHami look okay it won't be long before they turn into useless bowlers. Story of our bowlers. In the last 10 years most promising i saw was RP singh. He is nowhere to be seen. These two guys have pace. IThey will have to work harder than others.

RP never did well in India on flat tracks. He was as inconsistent as Yadav but being a left armer, he could bowl some unplayable swinging deliveries at good pace when conditions helped him.

I have seen many bowlers from 1996 with all the hype and letdowns.One thing i can say the current crop is the most talented .Shami,yadav can be world class bowlers and aaron is also a excellent prospect.Sreesanth and ishant also had the talent but did not utilize ,ishant still can if he corrects his action.But the stamina,fitness,skills,accuracy of shami,yadav raw skills ,the guy can swing it both waysi have not seen as package in any indian bowler .

Aaron swings the ball too if conditions help. He did swing some at Wellington in last ODI. The ball to KW swung miles in the air which was caught at point, McCulum could not touch an outswinging yorker. He always trying to get swing and that is why he is mostly looking to bowl full.
