Lord Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 as I said earlier, IF there is an impartial investigation toh doodh ka doodh aur paani ka paani ho jaayega. And I'll be happy to be proved wrong on this one. How would you decide if an investigation is impartial?idhar baithe kaise pata chalega?
King Tendulkar Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I beleive Dhoni's silence against corruption is what is being held against him.....No one thinks he will under perform or ask his team member to throw away a game.....Not even the Hardcore Dhoni hater will make that accusation. agree I don't think he would do match fixing. Not enough money in it for him He is cleverer then that. He has entered the corporate conflict of interest world. BIG BIG money like our politiicans do. Rhiti sports, csk, indian cements...
Sidhoni Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I would be glad to be proven wrong in this case but I if there is an impartial investigation then I'm pretty sure I will be right :( Dude you please stick to your bhagwaan. Like Maniac said even the hardcore hater would not make this accusation so easily. Didn't you say you have stopped watching cricket after Sachin retired?
Sachin=GOD Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Dude you please stick to your bhagwaan. Like Maniac said even the hardcore hater would not make this accusation so easily. Didn't you say you have stopped watching cricket after Sachin retired? stopped watching but not stopped following. And I read my post again - I wrote match fixing and betting - didn't mean to write match fixing because even I don't think he is into that. Have edited my post.

Let it be there for everyone to see. Stand by what you say, S=G.
Gambit Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Cattle herd mentality on ICF In real life, based on my interactions with fans in Delhi and Mumbai.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Why did you edit now? Let it be there for everyone to see. Stand by what you say' date=' S=G.[/quote'] I realized I had written something I didn't mean to say so edited it :dontknow: And both Yoda-esque and lord have quoted my original post so its still there in those posts.
maniac Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Let me clarify one thing here.....On field I don't doubt Dhoni's personal commitment but doesn't absolve him of some accusations S=G and K.T are making. Being silent to corruption, favarotism,Conflict of interest are all forms of corruption. The only thing I support Dhoni is I don't think he underperforms or asks team members to under-perform or voulantarily fix games or follows orders to fix games like Azhar and Salim Malik

CSK Fan Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I beleive Dhoni's silence against corruption is what is being held against him.....No one thinks he will under perform or ask his team member to throw away a game.....Not even the Hardcore Dhoni hater will make that accusation. What has created Dhoni's situation is the obvious conflict of interest in his and Srini's various capacities He held the shares of a player agency while being captain. He is the captain of an IPL team owned by the BCCI chairman, Srini. Srini then vetoed his sacking when all selectors wanted him gone. As a result Dhoni was so much in Srini's power that this guy, who once held his head up proudly behaved like Manmohan in a press conference. What else can Srini force him to do? Even without any corruption, you can imagine what kind of unhealthy complex nexus the above is! Not one single guy would have raised any questions about this if this wasn't the case. And there is definitely scope for corruption in IPL not because the players involved are corrupt, but because Srini has too much power
asterix Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Imagine Alistair Cook working as Vice President (VP) in the Private Business Organisation of Giles Clarke...

Detonator Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Imagine Alistair Cook working as Vice President (VP) in the Private Business Organisation of Giles Clarke... Imagine Clarke becoming a Member of aussie parliment :hmmm:
CSK Fan Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 What's surprising in that? Cattle herd mentality Dude you please stick to your bhagwaan. Like Maniac said even the hardcore hater would not make this accusation so easily. Didn't you say you have stopped watching cricket after Sachin retired? I love how life comes full circle. At one point it was Sachin fans who use to use such phrases when words like selfish, etc used to be bandied around by these same people who are supporting Dhoni today Now the younger generation has found a new icon, in their life time they have seen Dhoni play some amazing innings and win a world cup and become big fans. To the extent that someone like Yoda-esque cannot even ignore a post about Kohli's strong wrists and has to say that Dhoni is the strongest he has seen, or defend him even from obvious conflict of interest or business engagements which no player should have. But that's the whole point of being a fan, emotional attachments. I hope now these guys can understand the grief they have given Sachin fans, using terms such as blind fans, Sachin being selfish and ignoring the 20+ years of emotions and attachment which goes with that, particularly since it was clear Sachin will be gone soon and only leave memories behind. You can claim all you want that situations are different, etc, etc. But in the end, the shoe is on the other foot for a change. It's not a great feeling, is it?
CSK Fan Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Where's the proof? And why the double standards ? My post was deleted when I said that SRT was involved in ball tampering. Since you are bringing this up in multiple threads, I would suggest sending a PM to admins rather than bringing it up everywhere. I doubt the post would be deleted just for what you said (I didn't see the post in question). It might be either because of the context, derailing or might be quoting some other post which was also deleted. Anyways, it's best to resolve the moderation issues through direct conversations than just random rant because it will clear doubts

gattaca Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Mods needs to change the title of this thread. This is Indian forum we don't have to disrespect our own players. A guy who has world cup, champions trophy and T20 world cup needs more respect. Although I don't like him lately because of his selections and conflict of interests but this thread title is pathetic.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Aww' date=' everything has to be about SRT,does it not?[/quote'] the same can be said about you and M$D.
