SC decision leaves Dhoni vulnerable in two ways- Not only will the possibility of his involvement in corruption be independently investigated without Srinivasan's protection ... but also Srini will not be around to support him if India fail in their upcoming away tours which could lead to his sacking before the WC. If Dhoni also falls will it be a good thing or not for India ?

Ganguly played under Dhoni for sometime. The current srilankan team has couple of senior players who have captained for sometime in the past. It is a job for god sake, not anyone's birthright.

He already lost his captaincy once till srini got involved; he will finally lose it for test. Given our ODI performance in SA and NZ we arent winning 2015 WC so if a new captain is brought for all formats i dont see major impact.

Srini most likely will hand the baton to one of his cronies unless there's a court appointed BCCI chairman. In the midst of an election season dont think people like Jaitley will get into this issue right now unlike last time when he called for removal of Srini.

ideally, he would no longer be test captain before the england tour.. either he leaves on own accord and plays just t20s and odis or he's sacked as captain and player since hes done nothing in both areas in tests overseas. make pujara or kohli the captain and enjoy the exciting series!
