Temujin Khaghan Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Champs deserved to go on a high :two_thumbs_up:... can i say that they were the pride of Asian batting after Sachin and Dravid left the scene. really happy for these two. Also Malinga... great champ. uv paaji
maniac Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Happy for Sanjay Manjrekar too....Hope this is his farewell from the commentary box
Number Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 yes, happy for them. they deserved at least one ICC title.
Temujin Khaghan Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 strangely i dont feel so much pain... probably feel these guys and the lankan team deserve this. at the same time, the indian team also deserved to win but this is what happens when let the heart rule over the mind. sending yuvraj up the order is an emotional decision... even the kids on the street know that he was out of form.
21cent Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Great job form Mahela and Sanga. Did it better than Sachin in the WC 2011. No offense to him but, I don't remember him contributing much through out that WC. These guys actually played the important roles in the win. This also means when they retire, it will hurt SL cricket much more than Sachin's retirement.

Great send off for sanga and jaya :icflove:
Pagalpanti Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 How can anyone be fans of these 2 despicable men? They are kalla dhabba in the name of spirit of cricket, yet they always take the high road when its the opposition. I'm not sad India lost, I'm disgusted that these 2 losers got to go out on a high

Mahaa Raavana Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Wonderful thread...you can identify cool posters who troll for fun but are decent guys and disgraceful third class scum who don't have an ounce of decency...:icflove:
Cricketics Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Sanga did play great under pressure and Jayawardene always had been prolific for Sri Lanka, especially during these world events. Even scored well in 2007 world cup and 2011 and both time ended up losing. He deserves this.
